In a surprising twist ahead of Apple’s expected September 2025 event, a new leak suggests the iPhone 17 Pro could debut in a bold orange or copper-like color. First reported by Tom’s Guide and echoed by TechRadar, the leak showcases dummy units in what could be the iPhone’s most vibrant color option to date. If true, this marks a notable departure from Apple’s typically muted Pro finishes, potentially signaling a new design direction for the tech giant.

What the Leak Reveals

According to dummy models leaked and reported by Tom’s Guide and TechRadar, Apple is preparing to add a striking orange (or copper-toned) finish to its upcoming iPhone 17 Pro lineup. This marks the first time Apple has experimented with such a bold shade on a Pro model, which has traditionally favored subdued colors like graphite, space black, and natural titanium.

The reports suggest the new orange variant will be part of a refreshed color lineup that could also include dark blue and more vibrant tones. Alongside the color leaks, sources indicate design refinements such as a horizontal camera bar replacing the diagonal camera bump, a move that could give the Pro a distinctive look compared to previous generations.

Internally, while Apple has not confirmed any details, leaks hint at upgrades including the A19 Pro chip, up to 12GB of RAM, and improved battery efficiency. Industry analyst Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, however, has cautioned that some of these leaks especially around material changes should be treated with skepticism until Apple’s official announcement.

Conclusion

The iPhone 17 Pro’s rumored orange finish has quickly become one of the most eye-catching leaks ahead of Apple’s September launch. While some details remain uncertain, credible reports from Tom’s Guide, TechRadar, and industry insiders point toward a bold design shift that could redefine how Apple positions its Pro lineup.

If confirmed, the orange color would stand out as a fresh and daring choice, marking a departure from the muted tones of previous Pro models. More importantly, it highlights Apple’s ongoing effort to balance cutting-edge technology with lifestyle appeal ensuring its flagship remains both powerful and fashionable.

As the countdown to Apple’s next event continues, all eyes are on Cupertino to see whether this vibrant new option becomes reality. For now, the leak has already succeeded in sparking global conversation and raising anticipation for the iPhone 17 Pro reveal on September 9, 2025.
